Who are Families 1st 4 Additional Needs?
This amazing charity is based in Newcastle. It was set up by three parents from families with various additional needs after being tired and frustrated at not getting the right services and answers they needed. The charity helps families in the local area and beyond, many of whom are in crisis, providing advice and guidance, securing PIP/DLA awards, growing success with EHCP’s, and providing activities and day trips for families to enjoy. They also provide Training & Awareness, North Newcastle Food Hub, Code Red Project, Bike School, and a Community Meet-Up. See the website we designed for them here!
How we helped Families 1st 4 Additional Needs
The main aim of this website was to provide information about the various services that the charity provides, and what they can do to help people. So, we split it into clear sections, with plenty of Call To Action buttons that site visitors can click on to find what they’re looking for. There are also sections to find out the latest news and get involved with the work the charity does! Furthermore, we used a colour palette of purple to keep the site cohesive design-wise, and also tie into their existing logo. Overall, we are pleased with this site and the enhanced online presence it offers Families 1st 4 Additional Needs!
