Social Clinics / Onboarding meetings
Every single website we build starts with a client onboarding meeting (sometimes covered in Social Clinics) where we can discuss likes/dislikes, competitors, marketing plans and keywords.
We’ll work with all parties involved to ensure the smooth transfer of your website, service and data. Our aim is always to have zero downtime from the old site closing and the new site going live. Delivered Social will help provide email access settings for your new service ensuring that you are able to stay in touch with your clients. Please note that DNS changes can take up to 48 hours.
Testing and Launch
Leading up to launch we’ll test your website on multiple browsers marking accessibility and performance. The website will also be placed on a holding service for you to view and carry out user acceptance testing (UAT). We’ll not put a site live without the clients approval.
Browser testing no longer means attempting to make a website look the same in browsers of different capabilities or on devices with different size screens. It does mean ensuring that a person’s experience of a design should be appropriate to the capabilities of a browser or device.
Desktop Browser Testing
We test our work in current versions of major desktop browsers including those made by Apple (Safari), Google (Chrome), Microsoft (Edge), and Mozilla Firefox.
Mobile Browser Testing
Testing popular small-screen devices is essential in ensuring that a person’s experience of a design is appropriate to the capabilities of the device they’re using. We test our work in:
• iOS 9+: Safari
• Android 6.0+: Google Chrome, Firefox
Hosting is available via our third-party hosting company, Heart Internet. This includes;
- Unlimited traffic
- 20GB of local storage
- WordPress CMS
- Security Patching
- Control Panel access
Delivered Social, unlike most companies, perform monthly updates to your website included within your hosting price. These include WordPress Updates and Security checks.
Technical Support – Hosting
We’re not a website hosting company so we don’t offer support for website hosting, however if you are using one of our recommended hosts and paying us direct, we will manage your service. We can set up your site on a server, plus any statistics software such as Google Analytics and we can provide a separate estimate for that if needed.
Design – Website / Social Media
We create look-and-feel designs and flexible layouts that adapt to the capabilities of many devices and screen sizes. You’ll have two or more opportunities to review our work and provide feedback before your site goes live. If, at any stage, you’re not happy with the direction our work is taking, you will pay us in full for everything we’ve produced up to that point and then cancel this contract.
Revisions and Changes – The Common Sense Policy
We know from experience that fixed-price contracts are rarely beneficial to our clients. They often limit you to your earliest ideas and we don’t want to limit your ability to change your time and make decisions as you learn more about your business and whats possible. The price at the beginning of this contract is based on the length of time we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything you’ve told us you want to achieve, but we’re happy to be flexible. If you want to change your mind or add anything new, that won’t be a problem as we’ll provide a separate estimate for to cover the additional work.
Everyone’s human and we can’t guarantee that our work will always be error free. Delivered Social can’t be liable to you or any third-party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental consequential or special damages, even if you’ve advised us of them.
Clients of Delivered Social will receive an invoice at the start of each billing period. This bill will cover all upcoming services which are due to be completed on the client’s behalf, by Delivered Social, in the month ahead.
Our services include but are not limited to web design, web hosting, social media management and content creation.
Delivered Social will not commence work until payment is received. For every day after the invoice date that a payment is not received, a 1% interest charge will be added. In the event that we incur legal fees, costs and disbursements in an effort to collect our invoices, in addition to interest on the unpaid balance, you agree to reimburse us for these expenses.
Social media posting will stop 7 days after an invoice is due and not paid. The invoice and outstanding balance will still be in contract and payment due. Once paid services will resume within 48 hours. The additional 1% fee will be added as a separate invoice for payment once the regular bill has been paid.
The ‘Delivered Social’ Mark
Any website created by Delivered Social will feature the following text ‘Website created by Delivered Social’ with a link to DeliveredSocial.com, in the footer. This can only be removed with the permission of Delivered Social in writing or email and must remain on the site no matter it’s hosted location.
Right to cancel
All clients of Delivered Social have the right to cancel our services, but they must provide two months’ notice in order to do so. This can be done by emailing your account manager or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ten free websites competition
Delivered Social is currently running a ‘ten free websites’ competition.
To enter this competition, you simply need to send an email to email@example.com which contains the name of your business.
This competition will close at 5pm on Thursday 15th March 2018.
After the closing time, ten winners will be chosen at random.
For each winner, Delivered Social will build a business website consisting of five web pages. The winners will not be charged for this design work.
If a winner decides to accept Delivered Social’s design and set this new website as their online base, they will have to pay a monthly hosting fee of £30 + VAT in order to so*.
If the winner asks for extra pages to be added to their website, further to the five freely-built ones, each extra page will cost £49 + VAT.
*hosting invoices are billed yearly in advance before work begins
Notices and Newsletter
All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. If we need to give notice to you, we will send it to either the email or postal address that you provide to Delivered Social upon becoming a client.
Additionally, all clients of Delivered Social are added to our client mailing list. Emails are sent to this mailing list at least once per week.
Client Responsibility for Accuracy
You shall be responsible for the accuracy, completeness and propriety of information concerning your products and services which you furnish to us verbally or in writing in
connection with the performance of this Agreement.
These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
Transfer of Materials
Upon termination of this agreement, provided that there is no outstanding indebtedness then owing by the ‘client’. Delivered Social shall transfer, assign and make available to the ‘client’ all property and materials in its possession or control belonging to the ‘client’. The ‘client’ agrees to pay for all costs associated with the transfer of materials.
