Have you started to get lots of email spam hitting your inbox? I'm sure you've been spending just a couple of minutes a day deleting them and moving on right? Firstly, there's two problems with this. It'll get worse, and it's such a waste of time. In fact just those two minutes a day add up to a whopping 12 hours a year! And it can be really simple to fix – just make your password harder to break. Change your password to help email spam and see the difference it makes!

Try this method when coming up with a new secure password to help email spam

  • a minimum of 1 lower case letter [a-z] and
  • at least 1 upper case letter [A-Z] and
  • a minimum of 1 numeric character [0-9] and
  • a minimum of 1 special character: ~`!@#$%^&*()-_+=[]|\;:"<>,./?
  • at least 1 upper case, numeric, or special character must be EMBEDDED somewhere in the middle of the password, and not just be the first or the last character of the password string.
