At Delivered Social, if you know anything about us, you’ll know that there’s a couple of things that we’re really passionate about in the office! The first is working with charities. We’ve worked with so many over the years, and it’s something that we’re proud to say we can dedicate a whole department (Delivered Social Green) to. But the second thing is animals, in all sorts of shapes and forms! There is a bit of a cats vs dogs debate continuously going on. However, with some of our latest work with Guide Dogs UK, dogs just had to take precedence!

We’re so pleased to have been able to do some work to support this amazing charity. They exist to provide life-changing services to the 360,000 people who are registered blind or partially sighted, and the two million people in the UK living with sight loss. This is certainly highly important work, really improving the lives of so many people in this country.

What did we do with Guide Dogs UK?

As part of our Delivered Social Green initiative, we’ve sourced and secured a meeting venue for the charity’s Corporate Partnerships Team. This will enable them to hold a COVID safe meeting. We worked with Guildford Pavilion, a great local venue, to provide this service for the charity completely free of charge.

Patrick High, their Corporate Partnerships Development Executive, got in touch with Delivered Social to see how we could help them, after seeing all the work we do with charities, especially when we worked with him at Sands UK, one of our longstanding charity partners.

Assisting charities with their needs like this, whatever they may be, is part of the core fabric of Delivered Social. It really is so rewarding to know that we are making a real difference, however big or small! Our Head of Social Impact, Sarah George, said this about working with them:
