Our work with Battle Of Southsea
Battle Of Southsea is a fantastic project taken on by the team at Open Ya Mouth by Trash Arts. Their objective is to bring awareness to a particular period of Southsea and activism history. The team at Battle Of Southsea needed a brand new website to provide easy access to the community to access constantly updating information as research on this project was ongoing. Ease of updating content on the website was key for the Battle Of Southsea team, Delivered Social made this super easy by inserting templates which Battle Of Southsea could use when updating their content.
Battle Of Southsea opted for a new website via Delivered Social’s Free Websites for Charities initiative after popping to Delivered Social’s Portsmouth office for a social clinic.
Battle of Southsea is a project taken on by the team at Open Ya Mouth by Trash Arts with a clear vision of showcasing and education the Portsmouth community with archival and comprehensive knowledge of the riots that occurred in Southsea in 1874.
It was key we created a vibrant and eye-catching website that really grabbed the viewers attention. With the ability to add archive posts, they’re able to update the website with new information with ease and speed.
Terence Carvalho, Chief Operating Officer, said:
“I honestly had never known about The Battle Of Southsea riots until I met with Kat and Jessica for their social clinic. As a Portsmouth Ambassador, I jumped at the chance to assist them with a brand new website designed to document this fascinating project! It’s projects like this one which really make me proud as we can assist with Free Website Design and also spread the word of the fascinating history of Portsmouth!’
