Overview.
A bright, playful charity website that shows families and young people how The Wysch Foundation can help them enjoy the arts.
The Wysch Foundation was set up by the Wyschna family, who all give their time as volunteers, to make the arts open to everyone. The charity pays for family theatre trips, gives bursaries to young people training in the arts and runs free workshops in communities that are struggling. We designed and built a WordPress website, donated through the Delivered Social Green Initiative, that tells this story simply and makes it easy for people to ask for help or offer support.
The Challenge.
Making a small, family-run charity feel welcoming to the people it wants to reach.
Theatre tickets and drama school fees put the arts out of reach for many families. The Wysch Foundation needed a website that felt warm and fun rather than formal, explained clearly what support is on offer, and gave parents, young people and donors the confidence to make contact.
The Results.
A cheerful, easy-to-use website that helps more young people get to the theatre and into training.
The new site gives The Wysch Foundation a joyful home online that matches its mission. Families can quickly see how the charity could help them, supporters can follow its work through the blog and Instagram, and the volunteers can keep everything up to date themselves.
