Overview.
A bold, heartfelt charity website that shows supporters exactly where their help goes, from Bulgaria to Ukraine.
Door of Hope has been working since 1981 to transform the lives of poor and marginalised people in Eastern Europe, particularly in Bulgaria and Ukraine. Its work covers education, social care and trafficking prevention, through projects such as a social kitchen, children’s outreach, prison ministry and the Ark Summer Camp. We designed and built a WordPress website that brings every project together and gives supporters clear ways to give.
The Challenge.
Telling many powerful stories across two countries without overwhelming visitors.
Door of Hope runs a wide range of projects, from helping children get birth certificates to feeding families and supporting people leaving prison. The website needed to explain all of this simply, keep the focus on real people and give supporters a strong reason to donate or get involved.
The Results.
A confident, story-led website that helps more supporters change lives in Eastern Europe.
The finished website gives Door of Hope a strong, trustworthy presence that matches the seriousness of its work. Visitors can explore every project, follow the latest news and Instagram updates, and donate in a couple of clicks, while the team can keep campaigns and stories current.
