Overview.
Early help, in a language young men understand.
Leeds Wellbeing Project offers early mental health and wellbeing support for boys and young men aged 11 to 21. Founded from lived experience, it runs school mentoring, mental health workshops and Inside The Cage, a martial arts based wellbeing programme. We designed a strong, honest WordPress website that feels approachable to young men and credible to schools, partners and funders.
The Challenge.
Reaching people who rarely ask for help.
Young men often struggle to talk about how they feel, and many services don't feel made for them. The project needed a website that broke down that barrier with a tone that felt real rather than clinical, while also giving schools a clear way to book mentoring and workshops and showing funders and sponsors how to get involved.
The Results.
A website built for early conversations.
The finished site leads with the message that early intervention changes lives, then explains each service with a clear Learn More route. A Report a Concern link is always visible, and How To Help brings volunteering, fundraising, donations, corporate sponsorship and funders together. Leeds Wellbeing Project now has a platform it can grow with as success stories and events are added.
