Overview.
A clear case for giving that really helps.
The Oxford Poverty Action Trust, OxPAT, has passed almost £750,000 to front line homelessness charities in Oxford since 1996. With no staff and no premises, it sends donations to the core agencies who know how to help, including The Porch, Gatehouse and Homeless Oxfordshire. We built a striking WordPress website that explains why giving through OxPAT makes every pound go further.
The Challenge.
Changing how people give on the street.
Many people want to help when they see someone sleeping rough but aren't sure how. OxPAT needed a website that told that story honestly, explained the problem and the solution, and built enough trust for people to donate online to a small, volunteer run trust rather than give spare change directly.
The Results.
A website that turns good intentions into real help.
The finished site opens with Make Your Small Change Count over a moving hero video, then walks visitors from the problem to the solution. Logos of every funded agency link out to their work, story cards show the difference donations make, and annual reports are easy to find. With Donate always visible, OxPAT has a website that makes giving simple and transparent.
