Overview.

A friendly door for families who need a little help.

Home-Start Garioch has supported families with young children for over 30 years, sending trained volunteers into homes across Garioch and Formartine, north to Huntly and Turriff. From isolation and ill health to bereavement and money worries, its volunteers offer friendly, confidential support for as long as it's needed. We built a warm, welcoming WordPress website that makes asking for help feel easy.

The Challenge.

Reaching families who might not know help exists.

Families facing hard times can feel isolated and unsure where to turn, and many don't realise a charity like Home-Start exists. The website needed to reassure parents that support is friendly, informal and confidential, while also recruiting the volunteers and funders that the service depends on across a large rural area.

The Results.

A website that feels like a friendly visit.

Get Help and Donate sit in the header on every page, and image led cards guide families to support and new volunteers to training. Office hours, contact details and a clear area served help families know they're in the right place, while funder logos and publications build trust. Home-Start Garioch now has a website as welcoming as its volunteers.
