Simple Mortgages is a Portsmouth based mortgage and protection brokerage run by husband and wife advisers Charlotte and Sylwester, with over 10 years in the industry. We built a warm, modern WordPress website in their navy and orange that makes a big financial decision feel approachable, with clear routes to every mortgage and protection service and advice offered in both English and Polish.

WordPress CMS: The Simple Mortgages team can update services, FAQs and blog posts themselves, with no developer needed.
Real People, Real Photos: Branded photography of Charlotte and Sylwester runs through the site, so visitors know exactly who they will be speaking to.
Calm, On Brand Design: Harbour Navy and Sunrise Orange with IBM Plex Sans throughout, clean and easy to read on any screen.
Clear Routes Through the Site: Every service has its own page, from First Time Buyer and Remortgage to Life Insurance and Income Protection.
Advice in Two Languages: A dedicated section promotes consultations in English and Polish, in person, online or over the phone.

The Challenge.

Making a big decision feel simple.

A mortgage is one of the biggest financial decisions most people make, and the jargon can put people off before they ever pick up the phone. Simple Mortgages needed a site that lived up to its name: friendly and judgement free, clear about every service, and carrying the regulatory wording a mortgage broker must show without it getting in the way.

Cutting Through the Jargon: Mortgage and protection services needed plain English explanations, not a wall of terms.
Staying Compliant: Risk warnings and fee information had to sit clearly on the page without cluttering it.
Reaching Polish Speakers: Bilingual advice is a real strength and needed a proper place on the homepage.
Building Trust Online: Clients across the UK needed confidence in two advisers they might only ever meet on a video call.

Google reviews sit right under the team photo, the bilingual advice section speaks directly to Polish clients, and a common questions section answers what people worry about before they call.
