Our work with Run Walk Local Portsmouth
Run Walk Local Portsmouth is a community-led initiative that encourages people of all fitness levels to come together every Sunday morning for a free 2km event. Whether you’re looking to run, walk, or simply meet like-minded people, Run Walk Local offers a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes mental and physical wellbeing through movement and social connection.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), they are passionate about creating a non-competitive space for locals to get active, build friendships, and feel part of something bigger.
Run Walk Local Portsmouth came to Delivered Social with a clear goal – to rebuild their website so it better reflected their growing community and mission. During our first meeting with founder Roger Watling, we explored how the website could be made easier to use, more visually engaging, and designed to encourage new participants to get involved.
Our team, including Thomas and Edwin, worked closely with Roger to build a fresh, intuitive, and mobile-friendly site. The new design highlights weekly event info, shares community stories, and includes easy ways to contact or support the initiative. As with all our charity and CIC clients, this was provided free of charge as part of our commitment to giving back.
