Custom Yacht Works provides bespoke, high-quality yacht repair, maintenance, and refit services for discerning boat owners. Their primary challenge was ensuring their online presence accurately reflected the precision, prestige, and specialised nature of their craftsmanship. They needed a digital home that served as a dynamic, visually stunning portfolio, instilling confidence in high-net-worth clients looking for complex, large-scale projects. Their previous digital footprint failed to capture the luxury and attention to detail that defines their work.
We initiated the process with a deep-dive discovery meeting into the luxury marine sector and Custom Yacht Works’ extensive project history. We defined their primary client, yacht owners and captains, and mapped out a user journey focused on high-trust conversion: establishing credibility and expertise first, then leading to a clear, simple “Request a Quote” action. The strategy prioritised professional language and impactful visual storytelling to immediately convey their market position.
We developed a visually-driven, minimal design that puts their exceptional portfolio front and centre. Large, high-resolution imagery and video were integrated throughout, focusing on the complex ‘before and after’ transformations of their refit projects. We created individual, highly descriptive pages for specialised services, such as hull extensions and interior remodelling, ensuring transparency and communicating their technical expertise clearly and effectively.
