Our work with Fairey Marine
Fairey Marine is a British boatbuilding legend, reviving and modernising iconic classic motor yachts for a discerning, affluent clientele. The challenge was creating a digital experience that respected their rich heritage and tradition, while simultaneously showcasing the modern technology, bespoke craftsmanship, and superyacht-tender quality of their new models, such as the Sabre. Their existing online presence needed to bridge this gap, capturing the emotional resonance of the ‘golden era’ brand while appealing to today’s luxury buyer.
We began with a strategic discovery session, focusing on the dual target audience: the classic boat enthusiast and the modern luxury buyer. We developed a content strategy centred on storytelling, ensuring the history of Fairey Marine felt as compelling as the performance of their modern boats. The user journey was mapped to guide visitors from initial awe (showcasing models) to trust (detailing craftsmanship) and finally, to inquiry (contact forms).
We executed a sophisticated, clean website design that prioritises large, high-quality visuals of the yachts. Dedicated pages were built to deep-dive into the ‘Craftsmanship,’ clearly detailing the blend of hand-built tradition and modern CAD/propulsion systems. A prominent video integration was used to immediately convey the power and elegance of the new Sabre range, establishing Fairey Marine as the modern leader in classic motor yacht restoration and building.
