Our work with Mr Dot
Clarke Reynolds, known as Mr Dot, is a Portsmouth based Braille artist. Sight loss shapes his work and his audience. He needed a site that is beautiful, fast, and genuinely accessible, with simple tools to add new works, exhibitions, and news. Clarke lives with Retinitis pigmentosa. He describes his vision as looking underwater and through a thousand dots. Some colours are hard to perceive, and high contrast helps. The site had to work for blind and partially sighted visitors, and for Clarke when he updates content.
Clarke Reynolds, known as Mr Dot, asked Delivered Social for a website that does his Braille led art justice and is genuinely accessible. We designed a clean, fast site that showcases his work with simple galleries, clear copy, and direct routes for press, exhibitions, and commissions.
Jonathan Bird, CEO of Delivered Social, said:
“Clarke’s story and practice are powerful. We wanted a site that is beautiful to look at and simple to use, for everyone. Putting accessibility at the heart of the build was essential, and we are proud to support the way Mr Dot brings Braille to life.”
