RSPCA Coventry & District Branch has been rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals since 1873 by providing vital support for animals and pet owners across Coventry and the surrounding areas. The charity operates an animal centre, veterinary services and rehoming programmes, helping thousands of animals find safety, care and loving new homes.

WordPress CMS: Enabling the team to easily manage animal listings for adoption, fundraising campaigns, news and charity updates internally.
Animal Rehoming Integration: The website was designed to make it easy for visitors to browse animals available for adoption and quickly make an enquiry.
Mobile Responsive Design: Built to provide a smooth seamless experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Free Website Design & Build: This site was created under our Delivered Social Green initiative enabling local charities access to free website designs.

The Challenge.

Creating a website that balanced compassion with functionality for an amazing local cause.

RSPCA Coventry & District provides such a wide range of services, from animal rescue and rehoming to veterinary support, fundraising and community outreach. The challenge from our side was creating a website that clearly communicated these services while maintaining the warmth, trust and compassion people associate with the charity.

Supporting Multiple User Journeys: The website needed to cater for adopters, supporters, volunteers, fundraisers and pet owners, each with different goals and information requirements.
Making Animal Rehoming More Accessible: Helping visitors quickly find animals available for adoption and understand the rehoming process was a key priority for the project.
Showcasing the Charity’s Wider Impact: Beyond animal rescue, the RSPCA Coventry & District branch delivers veterinary services, fundraising initiatives and community support programmes that needed greater visibility throughout the website.
