Overview.
A Victorian-inspired shop for a business that has grown up.
Little Bee Soap Co is Emma’s handmade soapery in Southsea, making cold-process soaps in small batches with organic oils, local Hampshire honey and beeswax. We built her first website, and since then the business has grown into three collections, a network of local stockists, workshops, commissions and award shortlists. The relaunch gives all of that a proper home.
The Challenge.
Telling a bigger story than “we sell soap”.
The original site was built for a business just starting out. Little Bee had since added collections, wholesale stockists, wedding favours, corporate commissions, workshops and markets, plus two 2026 award shortlists. The new website needed to hold all of it without losing the handmade, local feel that makes the brand special.
The Results.
A little everyday luxury, online.
The new homepage opens on Southsea’s Victorian-inspired seaside soapery, with Emma’s mermaid-topped bar and a strip of values underneath. Visitors can shop by collection, browse customer favourites, read about the ingredients, find a local stockist or book a workshop, with stockist quotes and award badges building trust along the way. Built on WordPress and designed mobile first, it’s a website that has finally caught up with the business.
