Overview.

A survivor-led charity in Bath helping women rebuild their lives after domestic abuse.

VOICES was founded in Bath by women with lived experience of domestic abuse. Today it offers recovery programmes, counselling, legal help, one-to-one support and peer groups, all shaped by survivors for survivors.

The charity wanted its social media to do three things: reach women who might need support, show the community what recovery really looks like, and encourage people to donate, fundraise and stand alongside survivors.

The Challenge.

Talking about domestic abuse safely, sensitively and consistently.

Domestic abuse is a difficult subject to post about. Content has to be compassionate and trauma-informed, never sensationalise survivors’ experiences, and still be engaging enough to stop the scroll. VOICES also needed a steady, recognisable presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, while the small team focused on supporting the women who rely on them.

Since September 2025, Delivered Social has planned, designed and published VOICES’ content across every channel, building a consistent brand and a regular rhythm of posts, reels and campaigns.

  • Content Strategy: A year-round plan mixing awareness posts on emotional, financial and coercive abuse, survivor testimonials, service information and fundraising appeals such as the Bath Half, all in VOICES’ warm plum, green and cream branding.
  • Video Storytelling: Over 80 Instagram reels featuring VOICES’ founder, staff and volunteers talking openly about recovery, the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and why prevention matters, with clear on-screen captions throughout.
  • Growing Across Four Networks: Consistent posting on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, plus launching VOICES on TikTok from scratch to reach a younger audience.

The Results.

Steady growth, more reach and a brand-new TikTok audience.

Across its four channels, VOICES has grown from around 1,450 to more than 1,850 followers since September 2025, a rise of 28%. LinkedIn grew by 37% and Facebook by 16%, while TikTok went from zero to 167 followers in under a year.

Video has been the stand-out performer. VOICES’ Instagram reels have been watched more than 14,000 times, and its best Facebook reel reached over 3,700 views. Just as importantly, the charity now has a consistent, compassionate voice online that helps survivors find support and gives supporters a reason to give.
